Further to an approach from CHC Highways on behalf of National Highways, urgent loop cutting works require an emergency closure of the northern carriageway at A19 / A689 Wolviston interchange overbridge, overnight between 20:00hrs Monday 21 November and 06:00hrs Tuesday 22 November 2022. Please see attached traffic management drawing showing arrangements on the interchange. Advance signs will be placed on site as soon as possible advising of the closure.
Traffic on A19 northbound will be advised of the restriction on the mainline, any traffic exiting the slip road wishing to access A689 east will be diverted back onto A19 northbound. Eastbound traffic on A689 approaching the interchange will be diverted left onto A19 northbound. The diversion route continues on A19 northbound to exit at A179 Sheraton interchange to u-turn and access A19 southbound and continue their journey.
